一、培養(yǎng)目標(biāo) 本專業(yè)培養(yǎng)德智體美全面發(fā)展、專業(yè)基礎(chǔ)扎實(shí)、知識(shí)結(jié)構(gòu)合理、專業(yè)能力突出、實(shí)踐能力和社會(huì)適 應(yīng)能力強(qiáng)、富有創(chuàng)新創(chuàng)業(yè)精神的高素質(zhì)應(yīng)用型口、筆譯人才。期待畢業(yè)生五年左右達(dá)到以下目標(biāo)： 1、了解國情，熟悉國家的各項(xiàng)方針政策，具有開闊的國際視野； 2、具備扎實(shí)的英語語言基礎(chǔ)，英語聽、說、讀、寫四種能力俱佳，口、筆譯能力突出； 3、具備廣博的文化知識(shí)和一定的專業(yè)知識(shí)； 4、擁有較強(qiáng)的漢語理解和表達(dá)能力； 5、具有文獻(xiàn)檢索和資料查詢的能力，了解翻譯專業(yè)前沿動(dòng)態(tài)和發(fā)展趨勢，具備一定的專業(yè)研究能 力； 6、具有良好的表達(dá)和溝通能力以及團(tuán)隊(duì)合作和組織管理能力； 7、具有終身學(xué)習(xí)的意識(shí)，具備不斷學(xué)習(xí)和適應(yīng)發(fā)展的能力。 I.Academic Goals This program is designed to prepare students as competent, adaptable, application-oriented English translators or interpreters with multi-disciplinary knowledge who are well developed morally, intellectually, physically and aesthetically, boast a solid foundation in English and professional competence in translation and interpreting, display considerable practical skills, and show great innovative and entrepreneurial spirit. Graduates are expected to meet the following academic goals five years after graduation: 1. A full understanding of national conditions including state policies, regulations, etc. and an international vision; 2. A solid foundation in English with good skills in English listening, speaking, reading, writing and outstanding abilities of translating and interpreting between Chinese and English; 3. Extensive knowledge of Chinese and western cultures and familiarity with a specific subject field; 4. Remarkable abilities of understanding and writing in Chinese; 5. Detailed knowledge of the latest developments in the profession of translation and interpreting and ability in literature search and translation research; 6. Good abilities of self-expression, interpersonal communication and organizational management plus teamwork spirit; 7. Awareness of the importance of lifelong learning and ability of learning constantly so as to adapt to

rapidly-changing society. 二、畢業(yè)要求 1、理論知識(shí)：具有豐富的英語語言知識(shí)，擁有語言學(xué)、翻譯理論及相關(guān)的科技專業(yè)知識(shí)； 2、文化素養(yǎng)：了解我國國情，熟悉英語國家的政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)、社會(huì)和文化，具備相當(dāng)?shù)娜宋乃仞B(yǎng)； 3、專業(yè)知識(shí)和能力：英語聽、說、讀、寫能力俱佳，口、筆譯能力突出，漢語理解和表達(dá)能力較 強(qiáng)，對(duì)于翻譯專業(yè)有深入的了解，能夠進(jìn)行文獻(xiàn)檢索和資料查詢，具備初步的專業(yè)研究能力； 4、實(shí)踐技能：具備一定的計(jì)算機(jī)操作技能，能夠熟練使用計(jì)算機(jī)輔助翻譯軟件開展筆譯工作，熟悉 同聲傳譯設(shè)備，口、筆譯經(jīng)驗(yàn)較為豐富； 5、職業(yè)素養(yǎng)和責(zé)任意識(shí)：能夠在翻譯實(shí)踐中理解并遵守翻譯工作者職業(yè)道德和規(guī)范，具有較強(qiáng)的保 密意識(shí)，能夠?yàn)榭蛻魢?yán)守秘密； 6、團(tuán)隊(duì)合作和項(xiàng)目管理：能夠在翻譯團(tuán)隊(duì)中承擔(dān)個(gè)體、團(tuán)隊(duì)成員以及負(fù)責(zé)人的角色，能夠獨(dú)自承擔(dān) 翻譯項(xiàng)目管理工作； 7、人際交流：能夠就涉及的翻譯任務(wù)與委托人、原作者、潛在讀者或聽眾、業(yè)界同行及社會(huì)公眾進(jìn) 行有效溝通和交流，能夠承擔(dān)跨文化交流使者的角色，具有一定的第二外語能力； 8、終身學(xué)習(xí)：具有自主學(xué)習(xí)和終身學(xué)習(xí)的意識(shí)，有不斷學(xué)習(xí)和適應(yīng)發(fā)展的能力。 II.Graduation Requirements Upon graduation, students should have: 1. Theoretical knowledge: detailed knowledge of the English language, linguistics, translation and interpreting, and relevant scientific and technological field(s); 2. Cultural literacy: a full understanding of national conditions in China and politics, economy, society and culture in English speaking countries plus comprehensive knowledge of the humanities; 3. Knowledge and skills for the profession of translation and interpreting: good skills in English listening, speaking, reading and writing, outstanding abilities of translating and interpreting between Chinese and English, remarkable abilities of understanding and writing in Chinese, profound knowledge of the profession of translation and interpreting, and abilities in literature search and translation research; 4. Practical skills: necessary skills in computer operation, ability of using computer-assisted translation software to facilitate written translation, knowledge and skills of using simultaneous interpretation equipment, and rich experience of translation and interpreting; 5. Professional qualities and a strong sense of responsibility: an understanding of and readiness to observe professional norms and ethical rules in translation practice, a sense of confidentiality and willingness to protecting confidential information for clients; 6. Teamwork spirit and ability of project management: ability of working in a group either as an ordinary member or as the group leader, and that of managing a project; 7. Skills for interpersonal communication: ability of effectively communicating with clients, authors of the original texts, potential readers or audience, peer translators or interpreters, and the public regarding the work to be translated, and that of functioning as a bridge between different cultures, adequate knowledge and skills of the second foreign language; 8. Ability and habit of lifelong learning: acute awareness of the importance of lifelong learning and remarkable ability of learning constantly so as to adapt to the rapidly-changing profession and society.
