廣播電視學系創(chuàng)建于2016年9月，專業(yè)教師均是來自武漢大學、廈門大學、暨南大學、上海交通大學新聞傳播學專業(yè)博士、碩士研究生，且具有長期在媒體一線從事新聞實踐工作經(jīng)歷或豐富的教學工作經(jīng)驗。此外，廣播電視學系還擁有一批全國知名媒體、院校的專家學者任兼職教授、碩士生導師。
廣播電視學系下設(shè)應(yīng)用新聞學研究碩士專業(yè)、廣播電視學本科專業(yè)，秉承“厚基礎(chǔ)，強專業(yè)，重實踐，善創(chuàng)新”的宗旨，以“學創(chuàng)并重，博專并舉”為培養(yǎng)特色，已形成了本科教學與研究生教育并肩發(fā)展的較為完備的人才培養(yǎng)體系。
廣播電視學系主要培養(yǎng)各級媒體、高等院校、企事業(yè)、文藝團體等相關(guān)單位和部門從事新聞采編、公關(guān)宣傳、推廣策劃、教學研究等方面工作的德、智、體全面發(fā)展的廣播電視領(lǐng)域的復合型人才和新媒體領(lǐng)域應(yīng)用型人才。

Introduction to “Department of Radio & Television”

Department of Radio & Television is established in September, 2016. The faculty members all hold PhD or Master of Journalism from distinguished universities, such as Wuhai University, Xiamen University, Ji’nan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University; they also have rich experience in teaching, or long-term practical experiences of working in journalism and media. In addition, Department of Radio & Television employs many experts and scholars as part-time professors and master’s supervisors who come from celebrated media and universities.
Department of Radio & Television includes one Master Degree, Research in Journalism, and one Bachelor Degree, Radio & Television. With the aim of “solid foundation, distinct major, sufficient practice, and excellent innovation”, as well as the characteristics of “combining learning with innovation, and breath with specialization”, the department enjoys a comparatively integrated talent cultivation system of undergraduate and graduate education.
Department of Radio & Television cultivates mainly interdisciplinary talents and applied talents in the field of new media, who will undertake the work of news gathering and editing, public relations, promotion planning, teaching and research, etc, in the units and departments of all-levels of media, universities, enterprises, literature and arts organizations, etc
